2007-2008
Concert Season
Continuing our series of innovative collaborations with some of Greater Boston's most prominent instrumentalists, trombonist Darren Acosta will join The Master Singers in October for a program of music for chorus and trombone, including the mystical and triumphant Look Toward the Sea by Hovhaness and a new work by Lexington composer Pamela Marshall. Our Christmas concert will feature Magnificats by Buxtehude and Pergolesi with string accompaniment. The Pops concert will offer an entertaining mix of songs and choruses about Heroes and Villains including pirates, police, brigands, matadors and more. We are proud to continue our association with the Lexington Public Schools for our free annual Children's Concert. The season will conclude with great works for chorus and strings by Bach and Schubert.
